The Respect For Life Adult & Family Services are for adults and families 18 and up. Our mission is to empower individuals facing adversity by providing essential resources and comprehensive support services aimed at fostering personal development and self-sufficiency. Through access to clothing for job seekers, food assistance for low-income families, and aid with essential services such as utility assistance and apartment application fees, we strive to alleviate immediate needs and create pathways to stability. 

Additionally, our commitment extends to offering personal growth, mental health, health, and career advancement workshops, equipping individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary to enhance their overall well-being and pursue their aspirations with confidence. By addressing both the immediate challenges and long-term goals of those we serve, we aim to empower individuals to overcome obstacles, achieve self-reliance, and build brighter futures for themselves and their communities.

 Resources offered to the community are 

· Job placement & Readiness (Creating Resumes, Mock interviews, Obtaining ID’s)

· Clothing, Shelter, Medicaid & Food resources

· Disaster preparedness twice a year 

· Cooking & Sewing Classes held quarterly (3-4wk class) 

· Self-awareness & Self Improvement Peer courses (6wk class) for men and women held Quarterly via Zoom

· Healthy living (yoga, how to eat to live, self-defense, acupuncture sessions) 

· Business mentoring classes held once a month & Peer Business Circles (held via Zoom weekly)

· Grief peer meetings during the holiday season Nov-Dec once a week
